This is a long overdue review. Has got myself a box of lotus paste mooncakes from Pin Si from OpenRice. Well, I must said that this was one of the best lotus mooncakes that i ever tried recently. And their services were really promt and good.I have made a call to reserve my mooncakes, but i was in wrong as i was a little late, didnt make it at the time which i have arranged which was at 6pm. I have arrived around 7pm. And maybe their business was really good, all their lotus mooncakes were fully
I have made a call to reserve my mooncakes, but i was in wrong as i was a little late, didnt make it at the time which i have arranged which was at 6pm. I have arrived around 7pm. And maybe their business was really good, all their lotus mooncakes were fully sold at that time when i arrrived at the restaurant.
Realising the situation, Pin Si was quite fast to reponse to offer me to take a seat to have a drink while making arrangement for my mooncakes for the next day collection. Therefore i have left my contact number, hoping that i can collect the mooncakes the next day.
Around 8pm, to my surprise i got a call from Pin Si, and they told me they got my mooncakes from the factory and asked for my address as they arranging the mooncakes delivery to be made around 10pm on the very night.
Was really delighted for their special arrangement and happy to receive my mooncakes.
And to my surprise, their mooncakes tasted really good and fresh. The lotus paste was very smooth and not too sweet. And the skin was very thin and freshly baked which tasted really very nice with the salted egg yolk. Yummy! This gonna be my favorite mooncakes brand that i will get for my relatives in the future.
