After about a decade since my last visit, I finally visited Ya Hua Bak Kut Teh again. Ya Hua BKT was crowned the best in the Bak Kut Teh category at the Singapore Hawker Masters in 2012. The Outram Ya Hua BKT that I had tried pales in comparison to this.

We arrived at a late evening and many of their items were sold out already. Even their pork ribs were out of stock and we had to settle for the pork meat (fillet?). The meat was tough but delectable. The soup was a tad too peppery but it was very satisfying. The taste of the soup was just right, not too sweet not salty.

Service was also fast and efficient. Overall, it is worth a try. If you are looking for bak kut teh haunts, try this!
