Outside Toa Payoh HDB Hub, there was a back lane behind those shop houses. This backlane has a number of roasted meat stalls. But dining there was slightly hot.I was unsure which best roasted meat stall to dine at, so I chose the first corner stall on the left. I was unsure which best roasted meat stall to dine at, so I chose the first corner stall on the left.
I had ordered roasted duck meat noodles with char siew.
The roasted duck meat tasted good. The skin was still crispy and there was a layer of fats under the skin. The duck meat was not tough, it was tender and moist.
The char siew was very good. There was half fats and half meat. The fats almost slowly melted in your mouth, the meat was tender and moist. There was also roasted sweet caramel taste on the red outer layer of the char siew.
The noodles were spingy and there was special black sweet sauce under the noodle. When mixed together, the combination tasted very good.
