I am a fan of ice cream, not so much of yogurt, but when I saw that one of this week featured flavours at Yami Yogurt was "Rose", I had to give it a try! The Yami Yogurt kiosk is located at the basement and prices and a simple guide showing how to order was also clearly displayed at the counter, making it easier for first time customers like me to know what to expect in advance. There was also a wide selection of toppings available to choose from, ranging from the healthier choices such as fruit

There was also a wide selection of toppings available to choose from, ranging from the healthier choices such as fruits and nuts to the more "sinful" ones like chocolate chips for those who want to indulge their sweet tooth. There was even Oreo crumbles available and I was so tempted by that!

In the end, I got the Regular Size Rose Yogurt ($2.30) with Marshmallows toppings ($0.95). The total was $3.25. It looked very pretty with all those little marshmallows! The texture of the yogurt was thick and very similar to soft-serve ice cream (except that it was sourish). Sadly, it tasted more like plain, regular yogurt and I couldn't detect any tinge of the rose flavour. At least the marshmallows added a little more flavour to the yogurt, even though it was not as soft and fluffy as I'd have liked.

I would have also loved to add more toppings but as it is, I thought that the price of one topping was rather steep and $3.25 was a little expensive for a small cup with just one topping. At least the salesgirl added a fair amount of toppings to the cup. She was also friendly and had smiles for her customers, so service was at least worth the price!
