Ga-Hock is the kind of coffeeshop that you wouldn't know its popular from the outside. Though some may find it a little too run down as the environment at the back is under canvas overhead shelter near a big drain. Parking is also now Gantry type for the small available space in front and be warned its not going to come cheap. Alternatively several diners will park at the warehouse office near the bag, i heard the per entry fee is $3. Their signature dish here is definitely the salt baked crab

Their signature dish here is definitely the salt baked crab but be prepared to wait up to 30min. If you are coming during weekends, its best to pre-order and reserve them. The crab sizes are pretty large. Salt baked method of preparation will cost $50/kg with others instant cook type at $45/kg. The crab dish is served simple with no sauce or whatever, just with a bit of parsley as decoration. But one can immediately taste the slightly salty taste that has infused into the meat. Its a refreshing kind of taste and for once eating crab is not all about gluey sauce or spicy black pepper. Kind of like cold crab style but more flavorful and to the salty side. Its an instant hit with me, thumbs-up. the hot-plate toufu we ordered taste average though. Anyway Ga-hock is also famous for its curry fish head. My total bill was crab $60, toufu $9, rice $1.
