Despite its name, this stall is not located in Hougang but in Old Airport Road Food Centre. This stall sells nothing else but solely otahs. My boyfriend bought 5 otahs, a mixture of prawn and seafood. The nice uncle gave him an additional piece saying it’s his treat. My boyfriend bought 5 otahs, a mixture of prawn and seafood. The nice uncle gave him an additional piece saying it’s his treat. The ones in red toothpicks are marked prawn whilst green toothpicks represent seafood. Both were good, fresh as they did not reek of fishy or bad seafood odor. To me, all otahs basically taste the same as they are marinated in the same style. Often, fish would be softer while the ones like seafood would taste crunchy.
