Friends know i am a big fan of Popeye's fried chicken. And, for the same reason i have stopped patronizing the other popular fried chicken chain. If i have to compare the chicken between Popeye's and other, my choice gotta be Popeye's. I started eating when they had their first and only outlet at Terminal 1, Changi Airport. Their fried chickens then were really big in pieces but it is getting a little smaller these days but still bigger as compared to their competitors.

The fried chicken pieces served here are less oily, it is nicely fried to achieve the crispy skin and to keep its juiciness intact. It still tasted nice even if you keep them refrigerated and oven it to heat up. I have always prefer the mashed potato and coleslaw as well as the fries here too. I know fried chicken is never a healthy choice but to allow indulgence once in a while is absolutely fine.
