Had been a long time since we patronize this store. You can choose 3 different toppings - original sauce(takoyaki), leek with cold tempura sauce (negi dako) or egg with teriyaki (Teri tama)
Bought the authentic takoyaki with original sauce. It's topped up with a sinful portion of mayonnaise with some bonito (shaved cuttlefish) and sprinkle of seaweed seasoning.
Although the takoyaki may not look very appetizing and is usually associated with a long wait, once the warm batter gush out after you bite through the charred crispy "skin", you can appreciate fully why the constant turning and long wait.
