Sometimes on Saturdays when my mum visits this Food Centre to do her marketing, I would ask her to buy 1 packet as my brunch, when I don't feel like eating something too filling. I like it best when it is served without chilli, because the chilli used for such wanton mee is more on the sour end which I don't fancy. Even when I did not eat the noodles immediately when my mum reached home, the noodles still feel springy, QQ. I liked the way the wantons tasted too - 2 fried wantons & 2 steamed wantons in each pack. Though they were very small pieces of minced meat wrapped in wanton skin, they tasted very good.

The portion served at this stall is also quite generous compared to other such stalls at other hawker centres. I would recommend you to try this Pontian Wanton Noodles in black sauce next time if you enjoy springy noodles.
