Went to TCC for tea with my mum and sister! At 2.45pm, the place was half full. There's 1 for 1 mains promotion for members in the month of july. We ordered a Oreo Cookies Frappe ($8.50), a high tea set that was on offer at $13.90 (comes with tea/coffee) and a main, Tobiko Scallop Pasta ($21). The food came relatively fast!! My tobiko scallop pasta was really good! There's 3 big scallops with fish roe sprinkled at the top and I love the creamy sauce that came with a hint of Japanese soy sauce. I

I think the pastas on the menu all looked very nice, I had a hard time choosing but I finally went with Tobiko Scallop Pasta. Oreo cookies frappe was very rich in its taste, and very thick as well. I think it's better after the ice melted, easier to drink. The high tea set has a variety of tarts, cakes, scones and some meat on a biscuit. But the highlight of the set was the raisin scones! Tip: It's better to eat the scones immediately when served! It was warm when served and it was flaky and crumbly (the crumbs fell off easily) and it was so nice when put with jam! There's another one with duck meat on top of a biscuit which tasted rather unusual on a high tea set.
