Coming to client office in favour of training session, I was assigned to be staying at Commonwealth area for a couple of days. Buying snacks for my tea break, I happened to pass by the Best Bakes. A humble bakery located near MRT, it was not consider big in space yet selling a wide range of breads, tarts, waffles and doughnuts. She helped me to separately put in two plastic bags, no doubt a bit plastic wasting but it was to avoid both of them squeezed and mixed up flavours together. Sugar powder was all over the doughnut, it tasted heart-melting sweet. Just out from oven, doughnut was served up pipping hot, fluffy and delicious. Mexico bun wise, it was coffee aromatic yummy with crisp outlay and buttery smooth of bun. $0.80 for Sugar Doughnut and $1.20 for Mexico Bun, I satisfied both.
