What's after a good solid meal at Simpang Bedok or even a late night craving? Ice Cream and Waffles! The Ice Cream Shop is a creamery that offers a wide range of Ice Cream flavours to choose from. They have the Classic and Premium flavours which are priced at $3.2 and $5.2 respectively.Among their wide variety of ice cream, we ordered Thai Ice Milk Tea, Khalua (Coffee alcohol based), Chocolate Chip and accompanied with Waffles ($3). I found their waffles too flat, by which I meant lacking in thickness thus lacking in texture when eating it. I think a satisfying waffle should be thick, yet fluffy and light. Still don't get it? Imagine eating an inch thick steak versus paper thin meat during your Korean BBQ.
Ice Cream's texture fell between the spectrum ('1' being low and '5' being extreme) of creamy and texture. Nevertheless, it did resemble its intended flavours. I personally prefer creamy, rich and thickly textured Ice Cream.
Overall, it was a fairly decent creamery and is one of the few to choose from within this district.
