the first time i heard about Popeye is when i watch the movie "little nicky" which starred adam sandler as the devil's son, i remembered him buying a box of popeye to eat in the movie. when it first came to singapore, i was excited to try it and went to the nearest outlet. just a couple of days ago, when i was sending a fren of at the airport, i chance upon popeye at T3. without thinking twice, i walked in to find a seat with all my friends.

We each ordered a 2 piece chicken meal, it came tgt with a drink, a side dish and a biscuit. for side dish, we have a couple of choices, since there were 4 of us, we each took different side dish so we can share. i chose the coslaw, while my frens took the fries, corn and mashed potatoes. the coslaw tasted quite sweet, but in a good way, the fries portion was quite big, it tasted somewhat like long john's fries. the corn was very sweet and juicy, sweeter and juicier than macs and the mash potato gravy is very tasty.

we could choose spicy or not spicy for chicken. the chicken pieces were very huge, alot bigger than KFC's. for the biscuit, first look, it look like a cookie. i broke it into 2 and the inside was real soft. it goes well with the strawberry jam provided.

currently the seatings were limited, but they are undergoing constructions to expand the seating places.
