There were another group of aunties making the Ang Ku Kueh in the next room. They were rolling out the dough and moulding them with fillings into different types of Ang Ku Kueh then putting them into the steamers. All these Ang Ku Kueh are still handmade traditionally. I guess that is the only secret to these delicately made Ang Ku Kueh.

Each piece is about 0.60 cents. The different flavors tasted differently. My favourite has to be the peanuts filling. The peanuts are grinded nicely to perfect each bite with just the right level of sweetness and texture. The rice flour skin is rather thin with a desirable chewiness that complemented the different filling totally.

The salted bean and the yam paste are equally good choice. The filling was nicely done to give it the smooth and flavorful texture.

The Ang Ku Kueh are packed nicely in a box for taking away. They even have their name printed on the box.

My Grandpa would have love the sweet bean and the salted bean flavor.

I still love the simple and old school taste.
