It was 'despicable me' crazy season and many adults were queuing to buy happy meal for the minion toys rather than children. There were strong objection against adults buying Happy Meals as it defeated the original intention of the Happy Meal which is meant for kids only. Nevertheless, the toys were so limited, each adult is only allowed to buy up to a maximum of 3. Well, I guess Lady Luck is not shining on me that day; the minions were fully redeemed before my turn! Sadly, they gave me this toy instead (the miniature version of an apple pie). I was kind of disappointed, but they tell me there is this "deferred fulfillment" going-on and asked me to check online for more details.
Well, back to the happy meal I had ordered, 2 plain hotcakes with honey syrup and margarine provided. I like the taste of the honey syrup spread on the hotcakes, which helps to give the plain spongy hot cake a sweet taste. However, I do not like to add margarine on it as it was too creamy and also gave rise to a buttery aftertaste, which covers up the sweetest of the honey syrup.
I choose apple juice of my drink, well, there is nothing really special about this drink as it was just normal packet apple juice imported from another country. But the taste was acceptable.
