I remembered having these small little white goodies when I was young as there were many pasar malam appearing everywhere which sell these. However they seems to have disappear and it is quite rare to find these stuff anymore. I got myself the coconut filling tu tu kueh (or kueh tu tu) to satisfy my childhood craving. The uncle is very skillful in making this and in a lightning speed, my tu tu kueh changed from flour to something solid to bite. The white outer layer of the kueh is very fluffy and thin, which is good cos I dont really like very thick flour kind which is too dry to swallow. The coconut filling filled just nice in the middle and tasted not too sweet. Only regret is I didn't buy more to bring home and share it with my siblings who love it too!
