Two Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained chefs, a cook, together with passion and a dream, that's how Two Bakers got started. Specializing in artisan pastries and desserts, Two Bakers has fearlessly hopped on the bandwagon together with existing congregation of cafes at Jalan Besar. From time to time, Two Bakers will tag along festive occasions, whip up unique food menu and boost the festive atmosphere with creative decorations.I had the Two Bakers TYB (Tau Yu Bak - $13.80) which is a braised pulled pork
From time to time, Two Bakers will tag along festive occasions, whip up unique food menu and boost the festive atmosphere with creative decorations.
I had the Two Bakers TYB (Tau Yu Bak - $13.80) which is a braised pulled pork sandwich served with a fried egg and ciabatta. Nicely done oriental styled pulled pork that was tender and juicy.
My friend had the Beef Stew ($15.80) which was a Christmas special. Serving portion was generous with tender beef chunks as majority along side with potatoes, carrots and celery.
I had a delightful cup of latte ($5.5) served with Chakra blend (Brazil, Ethiopian Sidamo, Guatemala beans) from Strangers' Reunion. Chocolatey, earthy and caramel notes served warm during a chilly rainy night, such a bliss.
We also had the Chicken Drumlets ($9.8) that came with ten drumplets. It was crunchy and savory, pretty awesome stuff.
This is definitely one of the better cafes in Jalan Besar despite being the youngest kid down the block.
