After moving to telok blangah, I have frequented Sentosa boardwalk for 3 times in the past 1 month. There are basically just 2 shops here: Queen’s and The Wine company. The 2 previous times I went to Queen’s and was very glad my friend decided to choose the latter instead. We don’t really drink wine (yes i know the irony!) but we just wanted a place to chill out, catch up and have some decent food so the Wine company provided all that! very glad my friend decided to choose the latter instead. We don’t really drink wine (yes i know the irony!) but we just wanted a place to chill out, catch up and have some decent food so the Wine company provided all that! We ordered 3 dish to share:

1) BBQ chicken wings

2) Prawn LInguine

3) Fried calamari

The chicken wings were the most lacklustre of all– bbq-ed well but didnt have much of a taste. However, it did made up in terms of portion. lol. The calamari came first and my friend asked how it was compared to Queen’s. My answer,” already twice better!” THe calamri was fried in a flour batter and was very very good with the lemon on it. For the prawn linguine.. umm how do I say.. if u followed my blog.. u would have known im not a big fan of pasta.. so actually, this dish was quite yummy to me surprisingly! I took only a small portion but it was flavourfully done without any heavy cream or flavour, just good ol’ olive oil, pine nuts(yum!) and pesto.

Will I come back again? Yes… not so much for the food but more for the combination of atmosphere, absence of crowd and some decent food. =)
