This Amasoy outlet is located within LENAS/MOF area, but you can also order it without dining in there. I wanted to try this since forever but never got around to it... this one costs $2, a little more expensive than the usual ones. Taste-wise, I think it is not sweet enough. Taste-wise, I think it is not sweet enough. Amasoy is supposedly the healthier choice, maybe that's why... but for a sweet tooth like me, I'm only concerned about the sweetness level. The texture is soft but doesn't have much of the melt-in-the-mouth feeling like Lao Ban's. Well comparison is definitely inevitable when they are essentially selling more or less the same thing!

I would say Amasoy is not as good as Lao Ban's and commands a higher price - thus not really worth it. But still works pretty well to satisfy any beancurd craving.
