First time visit to this buffet themed restaurant on a weekday evening and the place was already filled with hungry diners. Considering a buffet fan myself, the first thing I'll do when inside a buffet restaurant is to explore what kind of food variety they have got before settling myself to plates of delicacies. The appetizers section is just right next to the entrance, serving assorted sushi and of cos, sashimi. I took a few pieces of salmon sashimi and it was good, fresh and kinda melts in yo
The buffet town provides quite a number of cuisine: Italian pasta, "meat of the day", western, pizza, 2 kind of soup, Chinese cooked food, grilled BBQ, tepanyaki, local favorite (laksa, chicken rice, rokaj, chili crab), desserts and beverages section.
I've tried - Sashimi, Cold prawns, roasted chicken and marinated pork chops, chicken rice, laksa, satay (their satay sauce is good!), shisamo, grilled prawns, chicken soup, home made soya milk, desserts.
Speaking of desserts, I think their waffles are the best among all the food I've tried. Even went for my second helping... Haha! Other than that, I have to say that the other desserts are thumbs down, IMHO.
Overall, comparing the price and the variety/quantity of the food served, I'll say it is still fair and square. Service wise, the servers are attentive at times (sometimes too attentive that they cleared the plates without asking if you still want your remaining food...)
But it it still an enjoyable dining affair with my girlfriends!
