Bread talk is another chain with VERY consistent quality and standards. The uniforms for the girls are really cute too! I really like the uniforms.The service is the same - fast, efficient, not much talking. But not much stuff-ups either.The quality of the breads is fantastic. The other neighbourhood shops try to imitate but they never quite get the softness or texture of the bread right. The vairety at this particular store isn't that great because it such a SMALL stall. But they've got the usual favourites. I love their muffins and most of their breads. I do NOT like their cakes or macarons that much This store doesn't usually sell macarons anyway. When it's peak hour, this store gets very super cramped and everyone is in everyone's way, elbows everywhere. There is absolutely no space when it's peak hour.
The bread is fluffy which means you have to get quite a few to eat before you get full. Which is good,, because you can try many varieties without getting sick too quickly! I think their breads are generally better than Four Leaves or St Leavens. But the have less variety and are more expensive.
The good thing about Bread Talk is that they are always open before all the other bread stores! Every morning I get to have fresh bread becasue Bread talk is open. St Leaven and Four Leaves, etc do not open or line their shelves till about 10 or 10:30am, but Bread Talk alrady has everything hot and fresh and ready by 8:30am! Amazing!
This is a very convenient shop since it's in the MRT, so I am always buying lots of bread when I am there. Wish the prices are cheaper of maybe they could have some loyalty program to make my spending there more worthwhile!
Also wish that this store has a bit more variety because having the same bread every day can get boring even though it's really good bread... and I wish they'll clean their trays which are always super oily and sticky. The amazing thing about Crystal Jade My Bread is that their trays are never sticky or oily! But Bread talk trays are very yucky...
