Youtiao 油条, savory bean paste fried dough 咸豆沙煎堆, sweet peanut fried dough 甜花生煎堆, sweet dough 甜煎饼, carrot cake 萝卜糕, butterfly dough 蝴蝶, green bean cake 绿豆糕, salted dough 咸煎饼 & popiah 薄饼 (Oops! I gobbled it up already).
Youtiao 油条 was crispy outside, soft & chewy inside...nomm, nomm...
Savory bean paste dough 咸豆沙煎堆 has a diong-diong skin, fragrance sesame seeds & a smooth beanpaste filling...mmm...
Sweet peanut dough 甜花生煎堆 (differentiated by the round shape) also has a QQ skin, fragrance sesame seeds & a ball of sweet peanut paste...mmm, I like...
Sweet dough 甜煎饼 was chewy with a touch of sweet redbean paste...mmm...
Carrot cake 萝卜糕 was not mushy but I found it a little blend & the shredded radish had all gone on AWOL (military slang/abbreviation Absent WithOut Leave)...
Butterfly dough 蝴蝶 was simply delicious! Fragrance sweet sesame seeds, crispy skin, diong-diong inside, mmm...
Green bean cake 绿豆糕 was full of green beans & didn't crumbled into pieces, fragrance & satisfying...
Salted dough 咸煎饼, my all-time favorite...the salted mixture of fivespice 五香粉 was blended into the dough making a very tempting spiral...I eat by peeling off along the spiral, can you?
Popiah 薄饼 has a thin, crispy & crunchy skin, tasty bangkuang filling sprinkled with dried shrimps & carrots shredded... Ouch! I got scalded...heeheehee...but very yummy!
Verdict:
I will be back!
