Decided to drive to TDS for some ice cream and waffles when my dad suggested some dessert after dinner. Googled ice cream places and this came upNot a big place but pretty busy on a Sunday night. We had three orders of waffle with ice cream (vanilla, strawberry shortcake and mango flavored). Waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside so definitely 2 thumbs up! We had to wait a little as they are freshly made but it was well worth itMy mum had a double scoop- mango and green tea. We all really liked how the ice cream wasn't artificially sweet. Headed there for a family dinner tonight. It was pouring so I called ahead to ask if there were seats for 12. Didn't want to make my grandparents walk all the way in the heavy downpour to wait but they refused to tell us if there were seats or if there was a long wait. Anyway I walked there with my brother and got us a table. The family came and there was a leak where we sat. Staff was really efficient in moving us to another table and setting things up for usOrdered the following:- Hotplate beancurd: So-so. Not out of the world but tasted decent.- Cereal prawns 麦片虾: CEREAL WAS AWESOME crisp and fried just enough.- Asparagus with scallops: Decent.- Sweet and Sour fish slices: not too sour, and the fish was filet well boneless!- Asam fish head: Thought the asam could be a little less watery but taste wise all was good. My grandparents loved this fish - King pork ribs 排骨王: Ribs were cooked just right. Sauce was not too overwhelming which is great. - Prawn rolls 腐皮卷: fried really well and the mayo was yummy! On the whole it was a good meal! Enjoyed he family time. Lunched there on a weekday afternoon at 1pm with my brother. Got one weekday lunch set each with sides of fried toufu and a drink each. He got the char shu ramen and I got the Kumamoto ramen (had char shu and braised lean pork). Was pretty alright for the price that we paid but nothing spectacular.  Not bad for a lunch deal. They had the new ebi tonkatsu ramen menu for people who are fans of prawns.…Read More
