Met up with my friend on sat and decided to head down to Thai express @ yishun outlet for dinner. The queue was long despite its already over dinner time. It took about 30mins before we get our seats and ordered our once we got our seats so that we dont have to wait too long for our food. The service was not really very good, because no one helped us to top up our drinks when there are crowds. Seafood noodles, the soup is nice though is very hot because of the chilli padi, but the feeling is great for chilli lovers like us. most importantly, the ingredients of the seafood is fresh and juicy Seafood otah, another spicy dish. It's my mother's birthday and decide to bring her out for a nice dinner so boyfriend and me bought her to soup restaurant. It's the first time we enter this place. The staffs there were very friendly. They let us choose our seats and allow us to order the food first and only serve when my boyf arrive.There are lots of choices for us to choose..we are given two menu one is set meal menu and the other menu is the ala-carte menu. we took the 3package set meal which consist of the famous dish 三水鸡, soup of the day ( corn soup), 阿妈番薯叶，肉饼 and claypot toufu. 三水鸡, their popular dishes which everyone would order. Weekend is finally here, me and my friends trained down to orchard and decided to settle our dinner @ AOBA Hokkaido Ramen. There are lots of choices for you to choose and also you can choose to have either noodles or stone rice and also additional of $3 to get one side dish and a drink. Everytime when i want to settle my meals @ ajisen, i will order cha shu ramen. but today, i choose to try new things and ordered Seafood ramen with additional toppings of cha shu I just cant resist the tempation of the cha shu because its soft and not hard to chew. Never regret trying Seafood ramen because lots of seafood inside which increase the tempation of the food like scallop However after the meals i had to drink lots of water because the soup of the ramen had too much MSG. Met up with boyf after work and decide to try the new outlet of manhattan fish market @ causeway point. there were many people queuing there so it took us about half an hour before getting our seats. While waiting for our turn, we took a look @ the menu and decided to order We order a seafood platter for 2 and 2cups of root beer. The staffs direct us to our seats, took our orders and serve us ice water while waiting for the food to be serve to us. Tired of eating rice, noodles and fast foods so decided to head down to Jalan Kayu for prata for dinner. We ordered 1 mushroom prata, 3egg pratas, 1 onion and egg prata and a curry chicken. Only manage to take the pic of the egg pratas and the curry chicken as my boyf started eating before i took the pictures. The egg prata was good, the eggs were spread evenly and the prata is not hard so we can easily cut into smaller pieces. Curry chicken was very good not really have alot of curry powder, and the chicken is big enough to share among both of us Total we spend around 20$ including the curry chicken and the drinks. Met up with my bffs for dinner after work. Decided to go Empire States since we dont have any feel for other food. We were been brought to our seats and we ordered, gaint meatball spag, crab fat spag, fish and chips and cheesestick. Its my first time trying it and it disappointed me as it does not taste as nice as what i think. Fish and chip. As you can see, the food is rather dull as it does not have sauce for the whipped potatoes and the veggies look unfresh and raw... Brown sauce was given only after my friend ask from the staff. But the fish fillet is okay its crispy and nice A new type of cheese stick i suppose? because its different from what i have eaten. Went to meet up with beau and his friends after work and head down to Zhou's Kitchen on a Sat afternoon for dim sum buffet Each table is given a list of menu, the items were quite limited and you can only order 3times. so you must order as much as you want for each round. The service of the staffs is not very good. When we ask one of the staff to give us chilli sause, the staff just place it on the table without taking away the empty container. Moreover, some of the food that we ordered was not served because they forgot to key it in for us. Few of the foods that we have ordered:Siew mai, my all time favourite always the siew mai is nice and the shrimp big and fresh ordered 4, 5 times of this yumyum 水晶虾饺, a disappointing dish. As i was craving alot for dimsum, my friends decided to bring me to a dimsum restaurant call “揾到食". Is just a 5-10 mins walk from aljunie MRT station to that place. I personally like the place alot when i first enter the restaurant because the decorations is like you are having Dim Sum in hongkong. Time to introduce some of the food that we have ordered. Century egg porridge We like the porridge anot because the porridge is smooth and has lots of ingredients in it but then its a little blend so have to add some pepper and soy sauce to enhance the taste.Drinks instead of pouring the drinks in a glass it was poured in a plastic container, new experience as i dint see anything place pouring drinks in a container we ordered 2 types of drinks, honey lemon and barley Both drinks were nice although the barley was not sweet enough. Had a chillax session with my friends again at orchard but this time instead of going to coffee club, we went to blue mountain cafe located at somerset 313 The staffs there were friendly enough to direct us to our seats when we requested for the sofa areas and help us to bring another chairs over as there is only 4 sofas available and ice water was been served when we requested for it. after much decussions, we decided to order carbonara, seafood bakerice and sambal prawn pizza. Idontreally like the carbonara because before tasting it i can already smell a strong milky smell. but what i like is the sun shine egg. nicely placed on top of the noodles and did not burst.
