I love love love the chinese food here. This is my second time here as I was literally mesmerized by the taste of the crabs here. We ordered butter crab, chilli crab, kai lan and venison. This is my second time at a Long Beach restaurant and this time its at the Dempsey branch. I have to say that the food was mediocore. I personally think the best dish was only the rice itself. The butter crabs we ordered were not that fantastic if i compare to other places like Melben, Seafood Paradise and Jumbo. I have to say though that the service was not too bad. Timbre has been around for many years. My favourite food here is the BBQ wings and the duck pizza. Duck pizza tastes very nice and original. hidden in a quite corner of bugis junction , this restaurant resembles an old cozy cottage . ive been here about 5 times now, some of the must orders are the scotch eggs, hamburger steaks , and escargots. the sauce is said to be stewed for 100 days or something , impressive! at the end of the meal you take a large key ( with the table number) and bring it to the cashier to pay your bill. pretty weird but cool at the same time…查看更多

occupies half the coffee shop at blk 412 , have been going here for a long time now. portions seem to have shrunk , however the quality seems to have gone up and thats a good sign. i always order the chicken breast or fish and chips. you can pick 2 sides from the menu , i will highly reccomend the cheese baked potato ( extra charges apply) , very nice ! service as always is tops , staff will do their rounds to check that every customer is happy…查看更多

Been to this branch of Margarita's many many times. I love coming here for dinners. The must tries are the Burrittos and of course the Fajitas.I love the Chimichanga too. This is my favourite of the Dempsey's branch. Lots of caucasians love coming here as well. You can also order a huge tumbler of Margarites to share. In my opinion, I really love Tao's concept. It offers a 6 / 7 course meals at an affordable price. Must tries are the tao's hot plate steak, grilled sea bass with japanese sauce, creme brulee, top shell salad with japanese noodle. I will definitely be back for more! This place is highly recommended if you are looking for simple chinese fare. I would highly recommend the herbal chicken mee sua, prawn cakes and their steam fish. Visited the Cedele Raffles City branch recently. I instantly became a huge fan of their Banana Espresso Chocolate Cake and Blueberry Maple Wholewheat Cake.The prices are justifiable as the taste was top notch. My boyfriend and I decided to try out brunch at Relish after reading about it in one of the blog sites. I ordered the Blue Cheese and William Pear Burger while he ordered The Breakfast Burger.I personally like the combination of medium rare beef patty, blue cheese and poached pear hidden underneath of the beef. The sweetness of the pear was delightful. The Breakfast Burger was accompanied with sauteed mushrooms, baked beans and an omelete above the pork patty. Overall, i would think it is a little tad costly for burgers however, the portions were large. And i am a huge fan of brunches, hence, i won't mind spending more for a good hearty brunch. So thai food has always been one of the best options when you think about having something spicy. My boyfriend and I hangs out a lot in the east and we decided to try out Porn's this weekend. The ambience was alright, with lots of Xmas deco (since christmas is nearing) and happy thai songs playing. stumbled upon this place after driving past one day , decided to give it a shot , the ba kut teh here is the kl type , the herbal broth instead of the pepper kind. the ba ku teh was very very good , the broth was rich and the pork ribs was sliding off the bone .there are a couple of other side dishes you can order as well such as shrimp paste chicken , you tiao , tau kua , , peanuts , salted vegetables and so on . the shrimp chicken was nice and flavourful aas well.…查看更多

this place has been here since i was a young boy! , its my favourite beef kway teow ever , the beef is so tender that it melts in your mouth . im pretty sure it because they use heap loads of tenderiser to give it that texture though. some people like it some people dont , i sbsolutely love it though , the kway teow has a nice charred character as well , highly reccomended and i always bring friends here for late night meals…查看更多

1st visit to this place , had a great experiene i ordered the vermicelli with grilled chicken whilst my partnr ordered the beef hoa. that wa just a right balance of sweet, salty and spicyness. i tried the pho as well , the broth was full of flavour and the beef was very tender. i also ordered a fried spring roll which i thought was very good as well! prices are very affordable and great value of money , ill be back again!…查看更多
