DInner...Nice...but not suitable to bring kids to
Korat Thai Cafe
2012-04-10
The food is nice and authentic thai food. Not so spicy suitable for Singaporean. However the place itself is a bit sneezy hence it is not recommended to bring kids along. We ate 7 dishes and we were very full, the serving is big enough for 5-6 person. The prawn omelette is very fragrance taste better then the normal chi char.Tom yum soup is also very tasty, not spicy and a very generous serving of seafoods. The papaya salad is a bit spicy due to some chili paddi, so just need extra caution when eating.Personally I love their fried fish balls, like malay fried bananas. In total we spend around $63 including drinks. If you look at the photos, these are the food we order,1. Tom Yum Seafood (clear)2. Basil with Chicken3. Kang Kong4. Fried Chicken5. Fried fish balls7. Prawn Omeletteand 4 cans drink…Read More

The dishes were nice taste better then Chinatown branch. Most prob it is not buffet style. I like the "liu sa bao" which has salted egg and custard inside, when bite the salted egg and custard liquid will flow, tasty. The paper wrap chicken is nice, a bit oily but not so salty.Red bean with banana seems to be very popular among all of us. It taste better then mango prawn wrap.Another thing worth trying is their "fu pi wrap with prawn" fu pi is nicely fried not badI have durian pudding as a closing dish, it was fragrance but too thick o durian. People who love durian might like it better. And the deco look cute…Read More
