Meet up with an old friend and decided to have supper.Since this is the only halal 24hr Coffee shop that is relatively near my house, i decided to give it a shop.Normally you wont shouldnt eat anything heavy late night if you're afraid of putting on weight,so I shared the Cheesy Roti John w/ chicken with him. Only cost like $4 which is not too bad. I like the presentation though! Not many eateries in coffee shops do such presentation like this. The server was patience enough when i kept requesting for more mayonnaise! The bread wasnt crispy or soft as i hoped it was. A bit hard to chew, not much cheese nor chicken though. But it was okay. Had a farewell lunch for our ex colleague. Their delivery was punctual. They provide us with tissues and utensils. How nice!We ordered the 3-4 boxes of Shepperd Pie and the famous Claypot Crab Bee Hoo and cheesecake too! We had the normal chix pie and the black peper chix pie as well. I much prefer the normal one. There was too much pepper for the other pie. Everyone enjoyed the claypot bee hoon! We ordered like 3 sets of it and it was all gone within 45 minutes! Finger licking good!This is good for a a company lunch take out. If im not wrong, they do not have any pork or lard in their menu. Cost us like $250+? Im not a huge fan of Haagen-Dazs at first but after trying their waffles with their Belgium chocolate i got hooked. The ambiance here is good, you can people watch here since it in an open space. Friendly attentive servers they have . The brownie wasn't fantastic, it seems dry for me but over all its okay when eaten with the ice cream. Im a fan of their crispy waffle and chocolate ice cream! Its pretty steep though the price. If i can recall it cost a lil over $10 just for the waffles and 2 scoop of ice cream. But hey, its Haagen Dazs though, cant complain much!Try it when you can! They say when you're in a sad mood you tend to eat sweetsand when you are in upset mood you eat more meat!In my case this is true!I was just upset and tense and all i can think of is Charco's!! Who doesn't love bubble tea!!!My aunt and I was yeaarning for KOI after a hearty meal at Charco's.And i was actually convinced that there wasnt a branch here in Marine Parade but apparently she proved me wrong.The shop is located right infront of the hawker centre and lucky for us there wasnt much que. The staff here are more friendlier compared to Tampines branch and the service was much faster.Both of got the caramel milk tea, but mine was with pearls while hers was grass jelly,personally i prefer the pearls. After countless of times being tempted to walk in Darcis with all the pretty looking macaroons on the display, I finally caved in.Looking over the display, all of them lined up so neatly and prettty with their bold colours. No wonder they don't come cheap. Each is priced $3. And so i bought 3. Strawberry poppy was my first choice because of the red-wine coloured shell that attracted me. The Lemon flavored was next cause it was something new for me and lastly recommended by the really cute waiter who was really patience with me, was Pistachio.The macaroons are indeed sweeeet!! Celebrated my dear brother birthday here. It was still relatively new at the time.We were given the room on the second story which was just beautifully decorated to the Moroccan Theme.The food was really good. I really love their Mash Potatoes with cheese. We ordered not 2 but 4!! The salmon was a tad dry but it really went well with the creamy sauce and the rice. The meat were quite tender and juicy! The waitress were quite patience with us as we kept ordering more and more! Will definitely be back for more foody adventure!! Been craving for korean for a looong while now and then finally!!It was kinda hard to get seats cause it was the weekends and we had to que up for about a good 20 minutes to be seated. And although it was a full house, the servers were attentive enough!The ambiance is just alright for me nothing to wow about. The food was good. I had the Kimchi Noodle, pretty spicy just as i asked for and worth my $10+. My friends had the Bulgogi Beef & the Dak Gal Bi (Spicy Chicken). I personally thought that the beef was too sweet for my liking but nonetheless its tender. The Dak Gal Bi wasnt as spicy as i thought it would be. There wasn't much chicken. I finally had the time to visit Jamie Teo & Daniel Ong's new bakery! I read so much good reviews through it's FB page. And finally its my turn!By the time i got there was around 5pm and they're almost sold out! Best to come as early as possible to grab the ones fresh out of the oven. They have many varieties from 'Chocolate Chocolate' to 'Rainbow Vanilla' to 'Red Velvet'.And so i chose Red Velvet since I've never tried it before. It was moist! I looooove it!!! It was melting in my mouth. The cream cheese was smooth and absolutely delicious! I couldn't get enough of it!! You wont stop at one!! So I saw this stall when I was passing by Eastpoint.Pleasant looking staffs they got.The shop just opened about 2 weeks ago but they’re still not fully furnished yet.Anyway, I had the regular size original yoghurt. Pasta Box is well hidden in Suntec City and after much wandering around, I found it!I dont think i can find any other eateries that actually serves PASTA in a takeaway box (like the ones westerners use for chinese takeaway food). I was that pleased and there are variety of pasta that you could choose from and you just have to wait between 10-15 mins which i find fast! Its only for Takeaway but you could stand and eat at a high table nearby if you want to eat it on the spot which i did=)They'll provide chilli & cheese flakes and they're pretty generous with the amount.
