Teochew Fish Porridge
2011-12-02
Chao Zhou Yu Zhou is open by commercial F&B. They have a few stalls operated within Clementi Hawker Centre. Example : Emeal, Chicken Rice and Fishball Noodle. The Fish Soup Q is the longest compare to the other 3 stalls. Lunch and Dinner crowds are common sight.I'm a sensitive person when FRESHNESS is concern. The quality of the sliced fish is fishy at times. Most of the time are coooked by different workers, depending on their shifts. The stock depends totally on personal taste.Whoever went to Clementi most of the times will discover a newly open Fish Soup stall. Last Year was operated by Adam Rd Big Prawn Noodle, they've closed operation. The newly open stall fish stock is simple in taste and the sliced fish real fresh. It is a MUST try stall. Comparing to the commercial run stall, I choose the new fish soup owner. You'll know what I mean....Cheers... …Read More

Fong's Rojak
2011-11-24
This stall Rojak in my taste is the best in Clementi. The ingredients use are freshly grill to perfection and crispy. The sauce is well coated on the ingredients. It is best to eat on the spot. The taste is just right.Brother's Rojak located in Coffeeshop near the centre is also famous, Q is rather long; but the rojak sauce is salty. All depends on age groups of taste. To me after 30+ age group, not really could accept items too sweet or salty.…Read More

Chai Ho Satay & Dried Pork
2011-11-24
This is a stall not to be missed. My family and I loved their Satay charcoal, nice and tasty. The Q is quite long during weekends, be prepare to wait. The Chicken Satay taste nice whether eaten hot or cold, still rather juicy. The Pork Satay need to eat on the spot, not a good idea to pack home; when it is cold, it is tough. …Read More

I am with my family gathering most of our weekends at Clementi Town Hawker Centre; most of the foods there are our favourites. The most commonly order food are : Lor Mee and Prawn Mee, sad to say is that the stall operation is Ad-Hoc; you have to try your luck at this particular food stall. The (ONLY) one man operator at this stall. Not suprising that the operator will say "Battery Flat" so need to rest to charge up his battery life. He is a fun guy. Hahaha....We love Lor Mee: the gravy is good; braised pork belly tasty well spiced; the fish is steam portion plentyful. We love Prawn Mee: the stock is tasty, use whole prawns. They have Dry Prawn Mee chili can be very hot and spicy. They do sell Laksa not everytime available..... Depends on luck....!!!!Other favoutites: Satay, Western Food, Curry Puff, Chicken Rice, Duck Rice, etc.......…Read More
