I have been to EwF @ Holland V twice, this is the second time. Both times, it was a gathering among friends. Thats whats great about EwF @ Holland V because the atmosphere is perfectly suited for a gathering among friends. The decor is very simple, the waiters are really friendly, and though its rather noisy, if you're with friends, you don't feel so bad making so much noise either. The portion for food is also huge, making it good for sharing with friends. For example i ordered a ham and cheese

The decor is very simple, the waiters are really friendly, and though its rather noisy, if you're with friends, you don't feel so bad making so much noise either. The portion for food is also huge, making it good for sharing with friends. For example i ordered a ham and cheese sandwich for a friend and me and on top of that we had a dessert. It was very very filling and satisfying. No charging lower prices and serving tiny portions for EwF.
Taste wise, i like their salt and vinegar straight cut fries. Its not too salty, and it doesn't become soggy very fast (you need to make them last to sit around and chit chat longer). The ham and cheese sandwich was a little too cheesy, i couldn't eat more than half before it got too much. (disclaimer: if you like cheesy things, it would definitely go for you). We had a milkshake as well, which my friends raved about - apparently just as good as Mos Burger's.
And dessert is a MUST TRY. We ordered a few types to share, one was Mille Crepe - a many layered cake that was more fun to eat than tasty; Nutella tart - for chocolate lovers, though its hard to finish one your own because its so chocolatey; hot banana and butterscotch pudding with vanilla ice cream - this one is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
