I was planning to catch a movie at 9pm however I didnt because i thought i could spend more time to indulge in the food here as this restaurant is newly opened. I was planning to catch a movie at 9pm however I didnt because i thought i could spend more time to indulge in the food here as this restaurant is newly opened. Seeing the many bouquet of flowers (for opening) outside the restaurant, me and bf thought it might be a good idea to try out at this place!

The place wasn't fully packed at about 8.30pm. We found a cosy spot to sit despite the waiter's recommendation to sit near the entrance cuz it was cold inside. We requested for warm water and it came promptly, together with a bowl of chips (unexpectedly!). I thought hmmm, maybe this place is good! So i popped the chips one after another and realized that some of the chips were soggy. Must have gotten into contact with some water! Worst of all, bf told me that the chips were actually placed at the counter in a basket, totally exposed to all sorts of contact possible!! :x

For the main dish, we ordered lamb chop ($18.90) and it just didnt turn out to be satisfactory. It was tough and had lots of fats (that cant be chewed at all) in the meat. We felt that it was quite salty, a consistent taste among all the other dishes (fries, rice & chips). And, the meat turned cold quickly under the chilling temperature. Now we know why the waiter suggested us to sit near the entrance.

I'm still not convinced that this place is that bad, hence I decided to order desserts. We actually have to call for the waiter a few times before our table was cleared. (Not forgetting, the reminders to fill up our ice water too.) So finally, having said the 2nd time to a another waiter, we finally made our order for the dessert which was 'Warm Chocolate Cake' ($10.90). Hmmm, we were expecting the chocolate sauce to 'ooze' out from the souffle cake but it didnt!! And we also suspect that the Vanilla ice cream (that was together with the cake) is from Ben & Jerry's. They serve b&j ice creams in the menu.

Seated right opposite us were a table of middle aged men. It seemed that their orders were mixed up and the food were delayed for a long time. And worst of all, their desserts were served first. The poor waitress had to explain for the mistakes made by their crews.

At the end of the meal, we foot the bill at the cashier (where the 'exposed' basket of chips were placed) as we weren't confident about the waiter's service anymore. After i paid the bill, the senior crew at the cashier murmured his 'thanks' to me while he was settling other bills (swiping cards and etc). That wasnt very polite.

The only reason we will come back to this place is for their salad. It was quite a pretty huge portion and it was ironically better than the main dish.

This restaurant is opened since last thursday.
