Today at jumbo we tried the scallop wrapped in yam rings. The scallops were fresh and of a decent size, and i particularly liked the yam rings because it was served hot and crispy, with a ngor hiong sauce dip. Personally i prefer the yam rings on its own but my companions practically finished up the dip so i suppose it must have been nice too.Another dish we tried was called the Deep Fried Beancurd Special. Another dish we tried was called the Deep Fried Beancurd Special. Nothing really special about it though. Its just fried fish cake with bits of chili and vegetables inside (not good for children. they tend to expand so much effort picking out the bits). LIke the yam rings, they were served with a dip (some sweet sauce i couldn't identify). I didn't really enjoy this dish.
