This was my very 1st visit to MOF. If my friend didnt say to eat here, I doubt I would even know of this place. The menu was extensive, with many choices to choose from - hot plate, sushi, pasta, rice etc. I had to look thru a couple of times before coming to a decision - ebi curry rice. This has been my favourite since I went Poly, and after I graduated, I had no chance to eat it anymore (in school).When the food arrived, smoke can be seen rising from it; it was piping hot! When the food arrived, smoke can be seen rising from it; it was piping hot! I had asked for more curry on it earlier to drench my rice. There were 2 ebi prawns on it, and potatoes and carrots as well. Some salad was placed at the corner of the plate too, but I didnt touch any of that since I couldnt eat raw food. The prawn was crunchy, and I liked it alot. Rice was just nice, not too hard, not too soft. Texture was just right. Portion wise, it may be acceptable to some ppl, but it was too much for me. The potatoes and carrots were soft, easy to swallow. There was just enough curry for my last spoonful of rice too.
Overall, a really satisfying meal, will patronize again if there's a chance.
Just one thing I disliked, they actually charge for plain water! I feel it's pretty ridiculous since I know many restaurants just get their plain water straight from the tap.
