The dill cured gravlax (a Scandinavian dish of raw salmon) with caper berries ($16++) was fabulous. Creamy avocado (instead of the default dill crème fraîche) spread on slightly crisp multigrain toasts, topped with savoury coils of smoked salmon. Simple and so satisfying!

The best friend enjoyed her Farmers Club Sandwish ($16++) so much that she wants to replicate it at home (whether she’s successful reminds to be seen, haha). Thick chunks of Sakura chicken, crisp fatty bacon, cheddar, avocado, tomato and egg sandwiched between light rye bread on a skewer.

Another sandwich that won the friend’s approval was the grilled triple-decker turkey ham ($16++) with gruyere, tomato, Dijon mustard and baby spinach.
