This plate of oily artery-clogging treat is a sinful (guilty) pleasure I had for lunch one afternoon. It was at this small unassuming stall at Far East Plaza and it was packed full house by the time I got there. You wouldn't think a dish like Char Kway Teow would be nice at this place because it has no pork lard in it, but wow I was pleasantly surprised! It was at this small unassuming stall at Far East Plaza and it was packed full house by the time I got there. You wouldn't think a dish like Char Kway Teow would be nice at this place because it has no pork lard in it, but wow I was pleasantly surprised! It was flavorful and a nice mixture of noodle and kway teow, topped off with little juicy cockles. Worth a try but not too often otherwise your cholesterol level would be through the roof!
