Met up with my friends and decided to have dinner at The Soup Spoon.Ordered a Velvety Mushroom Soup(?) and completed it as a "meal" with Chilled Soba w/ Teriyaki Chicken and an Iced Lemon Tea. The mushroom soup was chock-full of rich generous mushroom chunks and went well with the bread on the side. But, as with all cream-based soups, it does get cloying after a while. As for the Chilled Soba salad, the combination of cold soba noodles, shredded carrots, seaweed and snow peas was refreshing and helped balance out the cloying-ness of the mushroom soup.
