After a delicious lunch at ABC Brickworks Food Centre, I couldn't resist having something cold and refreshing to perk myself up so I thought of giving this brand new dessert store a try as there were a wide selection of hot and cold desserts at a very affordable price. (move aside, Blackball!)

For the hot variety, I was recommended the Caramel Osmanthus Ball, Tau Suan, Longan Soup ($2) as it was very rare and not widely seen around in Singapore. The lady boss came out with this herself as she realize that the senior citizens love Tau Suan but the younger crowd do not like the fattening and starchy texture of it. Hence, she used longan soup that is mildly sweet and added in caramel osmanthus ball which explodes in your mouth when you sink you teeth into it! The combination of floral fragrance and caramel simply blew my mind away.

When mangoes are overrated, have the Mandarin orange, Pearls, Aiyu Jelly ($2.50) instead! This is a cold dessert that will simply sooth your heat away with the smooth, crystal clear aiyu jelly. The lady boss cook the pearls herself to ensure the texture is soft and chewy and won't become hard when served on shaved ice. Not to mention, there were a generous serving of mandarin orange slices. It is definitely much healthier than mangoes as it they are heaty and not as high in vitamin C compared to oranges.

In another instance, didn't know what else to try at Creo Desserts and the friendly lady boss recommended me to go for their best seller, the Red Beans, Yam & Sweet Potato balls, Cold Grass Jelly ($2.50)! When I ordered this, the lady boss told me it is $2.50 and I couldn't believe my ears and ask her again. Reason why? The serving was so huge and toppings were generous! Oh gosh, this is simply so delicious and great value for money. I had a great time indulging on this especially the chewy and bouncy yam and sweet potato balls which was irresistible.

Overall, the desserts were great and the price were all so affordable! This is surely a "MUST TRY" for everyone young and old. Forget about your $3 bubble tea and head over to Creo Desserts now!
