My sister and I decided to visit this restaurant after Cafe Hotel was closed. This restaurant is located at IMM. IMM can be reached by taking the MRT to Jurong East MRT, you have 3 ways to go there. The first way which is FOC, taking the shutter buses provided by IMM at JCube which arrives every 10mins routine. The second way is to take the bus 333 and alight at the stop where IMM is located. The last way is to walk there, due to the tall building of IMM. It will be easy to recognise and walk to

The restaurant is located in between M1 store and MacDonald so it's easy to be found. The restaurant is a small place but there are sufficient seats for you to dine in. This place mainly sells udon with different varieties of udon like Kitsune Udon, Niku Udon, Ebi Tempura Udon and many more choices with hot or cold udons too. There are soya sauce, togarashi and sesame seeds with built-in grinder for you to add more flavours and spiciness into your bowl of udon!

We had a bowl of Kitsune Udon and Kake Udon with a complimentary mini bowl of rice, with the choice of Deep fried Vegetables or Minced Spicy Pork, and the choice of hot/ice tea.

Kitsune Udon ($10.50) is served with a clear dashi stock, chewy and smooth handmade udon (if not wrong), salty and sweet inariage or aburaage (Japanese tofu skin pockets) and sprinkled with chopped green onions. It is a light and comforting dish to eat on rainy days or when you're upset.

Kake Udon ($9.50) is served as it's most simple and refining way. The simplest bowl of udon with dashi broth, sprinkled with green onions and tenkasu bits. This simple bowl of udon will lightened up your day and your wallet too

As the complimentary mini bowl of rice, it's rather bigger than expected but smaller than a regular bowl of noodles. As for the Minced spicy pork rice, it has the slight kick of spiciness in the pork but isn't very spicy. It is rather plain according to my own flavours. Just as an advice, you could enhance the flavour by adding the remaining broth of the udon, some togarashi, soya sauce and sesame seeds. Mix it up and carry on!

As for the Deep Fried vegetables with rice, it is simply just vegetable tempura and rice. So nothing fancy but simple. The vegetable tempera have quite alot of onions so for those who doesn't like onions, watch out. The batter was rather tasty as it has flavour and texture to it. So be sure to try it.
The mini bowl of rice is there just in case you aren't full from the bowl of udon so feel free to enjoy it!

The final bills for both udons, mini bowl of rice, and two hot tea was $20. Quite a reasonable price for handmade udon and satisfying meal for 2. Don't hesitate to try it so go for it now! (if possible
