During one of our meetings with the client, we had Sushi Tei for lunch as a mini celebration for a job well done. I avoided having the raw dishes as I had a slight stomach upset a yesterday, hence I decided to take the opportunity to try the Curry chicken rice. I avoided having the raw dishes as I had a slight stomach upset a yesterday, hence I decided to take the opportunity to try the Curry chicken rice. I have not eaten japanese curry before so I did not really know what to expect of the taste. I would say the curry is rather sweet and poles apart from the chinese curry taste. The curry is sweet and savoury and it is not too thick as well. The chicken is quite tender and succulent and the portion is sufficient for me. There are also carrots and onions which are stewed together with the chicken. These vegetables are soft and mashy and has absorbed the curry flavour after hours of stewing. While the taste is alright, personally I still preferred the taste of the chinese curry, so I will probably not order this in future.
