Steamed Gourmet opened at Food Republic at Causeway Point some time ago and I must admit that I was tempted by their advertising banner touting the dishes as being "healthier" and less than 300 calories (can't remember the exact value). We tried their signature dish (Sausage, Chicken & Mushroom) along with the other chicken dish (with special sauce I think) on their menu. I love that they were served in bamboo baskets. The dishes were not only visually appealing, but the chicken and sausages were also tasty and fragrant and both sauce went very well with the rice. However, both dishes were a tad too oily for me and it didn't feel like the dish would be less than 300 calories each, so the banner was probably referring to some other dishes... On the other hand, my dad, who is a fan of Chinese food loves the signature dish, especially the sauce.
