Located in the first row of shops nearest to the car park is this humble noodle shop, selling Laksa at $2 and minced meat noodles at $3 and their famous fish ball noodles at $2! Do not like the price deceive you for $2, you get a full bowl of noodles with fried onions and small pieces of lard and 6 bouncy fish balls!A very simple local fare at a very reasonable price! A very simple local fare at a very reasonable price! The uncle and aunty are also very friendly and patient. If you are near this area with only $2 to spare. Walk on over! It is just a 10 min walk from Nanyang Polytechnic.

The noodles were cooked to perfection, the sauce in the noodles gave every mouthful a savory taste. The fried onions were so tipsy, same for the small pieces of lard. The fish balls had the right amount of texture and tasted great with a spoonful of soup. The soup wasn't MSG laden either! A huge plus!

I will definitely be back to try their laksa!!

This is the really worth it Fishball Noodle at $2. This is the first stall that i came across for such an affordablely priced fishball noodle. I wonder where else could i find another bowl of fishball noodle at the same price? This stall has their constant flow of customers. I joined the queue and ordered a bowl of fishball noodle. A good enough portion of mee pok was served with just sauce, chopped spring onion and bits of fried pork lards to enhance the taste.

A bowl of soup with 5 pieces of fishballs was served along.

Those fishballs were probably mass produced by adding in lot of flour with a lower proportion of fish. The texture was too soft without the bounciness expected of a good fishball.

The presentation of the nicely tossed mee pok could be an unappealing one as there was just a pile of noodle with no visible ingredients. The taste was not a disappointing one though. It tasted just fine with a comforting level of spiciness and a well-balanced taste of saltiness.

The noodle was cooked well to give it the delightful springiness with an al dente texture.

A pretty good eats for non-fussy eater.

Ok.... Before this i've never heard of mee sua dry before. I always think it's mostly in soup version. So when i see this, i just had to try it. Ordered one with extra vinegar and chili =)i must say the presentation is not bad. A good start for my meal already! Mixed a bit and took the first mouthful.... OMG! It's delicious indeed. Well balanced with the vinegar and chili, mee sua texture was ok too. I thought it may be one lump sticking together and it didn't.But portion wise, it wasn't a lot s

But portion wise, it wasn't a lot so i only go for this when i'm not very hungry
