Bought a loaf of the baguette from this Delifrance outlet to use it for my next day's breakfast to spread with the peanut butter and margarine. Usually before I going to eat it, I will re-toast it in the oven to make it hot and crunchy. The outer layer is very fragrant and the inner parts are moist and soft. Per baguette is good to cut into six medium portions, which is ideally to share among my family of six. The staffs from this outlet are friendly and greet me good bye when I leave the outlet. Enjoy my patrolling here will be back again for sure. continue reading

I frequent delifrance for their pastries and breads. Usually get a baguette to complement soups and stews. Delifrance has the appeal of many outlets for convenience, consistently good products, and not too expensive prices.the baguettes have a nice slightly fermented taste to them characteristic of French breads, and they are soft and fluffy on the Inside. In Singapores humid weather however, their crusts tend To soften so make sure to heat them up before eating. continue reading

I have not patronised Delifrance for quite some time, hence I was surprised at the new product offerings that they have. I was quite spoilt for choice, but in the end, I just went for the sausage croissant. The sausage used for the sausage croissant is really good - it is of the better grade of sausage. It is not too dry and it is not too salty. The croissant is also very flaky and buttery. Like all of these pastries, it is best if it is consumed hot/warm so that the crust will be crispy and flaky. Nevertheless, since the sausage is still salty, and the pastry is salty as well, I find that the taste is not too complementary. I will probably try out other pastries the next time around instead of this. continue reading

I realized not all the Delifrance outlets serve breakfast set. The one at the OUB Centre does offer breakfast set, and you have 4 choices to choose from. My favourite is the Sunrise Breakast Set ($5.90). For this price, you get a cup of coffee served with a piece of tiny cookies, a baked tomato topped with cheese, as well as a hearty croissant filled with scrambled egg. Their croissants are baked freshly from time to time, fluffy and yummy, not to mention the generous portion of scrambled egg, simple yet delicious. continue reading

Had my Ciabatta chicken sandwich at Delifrance again. However, this time was at the OUB branch instead of IMM. Compared to IMM, this branch is smaller and one cannot easily find seats during meal time. Given that there are other cafes nearby, this place is also quite noisy, and hence, not a good place if you wanna relax in the cafe. Nevertheless, the sandwich tastes as good. continue reading
