After my movie, I went down to level 5 to get my dinner. I didn't know what to order, so I looked around at what other people are eating and I spotted quite a few tables eating some hotplate like thing. I found out that is was from pots n pans, so I went to order mine as well as it looked very delicious. Also, there is a queue at the stall, which probably signifies that together with a soup and a bowl of rice. I ordered the black pepper pork which comes served in a hotplate together with a bowl of rice and soup. The meat is tender and flavourful and the portion is also quite reasonable for the price. I love the black pepper flavouring of the meat, it is not too overly peppery but just nice. The soup is also surprisingly tasty, because I expect soups to be just "for show" but this is really tasty. continue reading

I was walking around mega food mall at causeway point cannot decide what to eat for dinner. After much pondering, I finally settled for the stir fry pork with onion from pots n pans. It turned out to be a good choice. The meat was sliced very thinly. There was no fats at all. The meat was so tender, you dun need to chew much somemore. The gravy is very tasty, goes well with rice. the soup taste a little like shark fin soup, very tasty! continue reading

My mum did not cook any dinner so I had to eat out. As I did not have any money with me, I decided to go to Mega Food Mall to settle my dinner since I had the Banquet Card with a stored value which could be used to purchase food. Made my way to my favourite stall in the whole Food Mall - Pots and Pans, and ordered a Chicken Cutlet rice set. The service was fast, and the staff brought out my cutlet on a sizzling hotplate. There were raw cabbage or lettuce (I'm not sure how to differentiate) on the hotplate, and the cutlet was placed abv the veg. The staff then took out a bottle of mayo and squeeze some on the cutlet. The chicken cutlet was very crispy, and also very oily. After finishing all up, the hotplate was all covered in oil. The soup was my favourite of all, it was starchy, and tasted really nice with black vinegar. Rice given was also in a very generous amount, a whole full bowl. Till now, have tried quite a few different types of rice sets alrdy, will try their noodles next as I heard they were pretty nice too. continue reading

My friends and I went to causeway point for dinner. The place was under some kind of massive renovations and most of the eateries were close so we went to the mega food mall for dinner. I ordered the "spicy mermaid" from pots n pans. Actually it is just fried fish fillet with sambal sauce. The sambal sauce was kind of spicy. The fish was rather fish. It was fried till very crispy. As a whole it was quite delicious. continue reading
