Bought a piece of this curry potato bread from this bakery shop at choa chu kang. At $1.20 each, is consider affordable in this neighbourhood area. The bread bun's texture is quite firm and not too tough. However the curry potato filling is abit too little. THe curry potato is soft and full of the curry fragrant, it is not too spicy and easy to eat for everyone. However it is not filling which I think must at least buy two pieces then is enough for me. The shop is clean and the staffs are friendly here. continue reading

Brought one of the peanut waffle from this bakery shop for a light breakfast. First of all, the waffle is well cooked as it has a very nice light golden brown colour and as for the texture wise, it has a soft and fluffy texture with a slight pandan taste. The peanut spread is sufficient which covers all part of the waffle. Price wise is also quite reasonable at $1.20 onwards. continue reading

I love the smell of freshly baked waffles. It is always very aromatic. The waffles sold here are the very green waffles and the waffle is quite thick as well. It is my first time trying and I loved the taste. It is tasty enough on its own without any spreads as the waffle has a nice coconutty/pandan aroma and the sweetness is also just right. What I particually like is that they also make the waffles on the spot, which further ensures that the waffle is soft and not tough. Those waffles which have been left lying out there for long usually end up being very hard, and it is definitely not the case here. continue reading

This bread is very special because it has a layer of sponge cake sandwiched in between two bread layers. So you can taste cake and bread at the same time without having to buy them separately! I chose this bread which comes in a packet of four pieces, but i ate one...so in the picture there's only three pieces. Taste-wise, the bread is nice, soft and fluffy and the cake layer is sweet with strawberry flavour. The cream used for separating the layers is creamy and slightly buttery. Delicious to eat with a cup of tea of coffee!! The portion is also just right for breakfast or afternoon tea~Ratings: 8/10 continue reading

This morning I headed over to our neighborhood bakery i.e Moon River to buy our favorite French Loaf. When I got there, they had just removed the bread fresh out of the oven and were nice and hot and smelled lovely. As I waited for the bread I filled my lungs with the delicious smell of the cake shop and the bread. When the bread was packed, I took it and went to the counter to pay for it. The bread cost a mere $1.10. I paid and I left the shop., When it was time for breakfast, I cut the bread into slices and it was still hot and the crispy bread crumbs fell as I cut the bread. I put the crumbs into my mouth and loved it. The french loaf is nice and crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside and goes very well with butter and coffee and make a perfect breakfast!! continue reading
