There was one “Ng Ah Sio” Bak Kut Teh stall visible at Rasapura. No their first outlet located at where, but I am very sure it was acceptable for all range of peoples even from Western country. Retail Package in pre-mix soup seasoning can be bought from the stall too, Bak Kut Teh fans even can cook at home. Frankly speaking, I was disappointed. Fried Fritter was no longer crispy, even hard to bite. Soup wise, no doubt was fragrant and savory yet the portion was small. Only two little pork ribs given, both of them were meatless. Except side dish, Tau Kua was salty and went good with plain rice. Combination of Set A, ordinary Bak Kut Teh was $10.90.

A bowl of pork ribs bak Kut teh cost around $7, which is reasonable considering that the food Court at the MBS isn't cheap. As with all famous bak kut teh stall, the soup is refillable. I wasn't sure until I saw another uncle doing that, and after that I had 2 extra refills of soup! The soup is very peppery, which might not be for those who do not like spices. The meat is tender and soft, but portion is relatively small, so if you are a meat eater, do not pin much hope.

Located in an air conditioned food court at MBS, the price is quite reasonable. A bowl of prime ribs bak kut teh cost around $7 and the additional you tiao is $1 a plate. The soup is refillable too! So remember to sit near the stall if you're planning to drink up all the soup! The soup has a very strong peppery taste as compared to other bak kut teh stalls. The meat was really soft and tender. The meat could be easily separated from the bone. It's a perfect match with the dark soya sauce!!

After hearing so much of this stall, I found they open a branch in Marina Bay Sand food court. So I decided to takeaway for dinner.I ordered a bowl of Prime Ribs version and another bowl of liver. The normal pork ribs cost $5.50 while prime ribs cost $7, liver cost $5.50. For takeaway you have to pay extra 30 cents for each takeaway container. The price was considered reasonable since it was located at MBS, and not more than other air con food court. The container was the paper version which is not reusable which I find it not enviromental friendly. I liike the peppery soup broth which has a light brown colour unlike other Teochew clear broth version. Pork ribs was tender and soup has light herb taste. The liver version has many thin slice liver was cooked just right which was neither over cooked or semi raw. They used good quality dark sauce.
