Meaning of Graze was actually related to eat at a leisurely pace within relaxed surroundings. Greenly and spacious of airy ambience was invented by a young lady, she brought the contemporary lavish idea where people can spend time in restaurant with unforgettable experience. Entire Colonial-style bungalow was superb, I admired the artistically design. Stated down at Brunch Menu, the dish was very classic. Sizzling hot combination included Fried Egg, Cumberland Sausages, Bacon, Diced Potatoes, Half-cut Tomato and Sweet Corns. Organic egg balanced up the saltiness of Sausages and Bacons, the taste overall was fine. Complete and filling plate, the portion was just nice for one serving. $25 for mine, it might be a little costly but worth a try. continue reading

for photos and more reivews, visit https://thelittlemomentsofmylife.blogspot.com/ (:the brunch at graze starts from 10am, but only a limited section of the menu is available unfortunately the rest of the brunch menu is only served after 12pm, so we were restricted to the brunch specials and eggs sections. nevertheless, we were able to order quite a variety of dishes, which were pretty yummy (: first up, we had the free range eggs ($18) which are cooked according to your liking, be it poached, scrambled or fried, and served with bacon, roast vine tomatoes and toast. the eggs, we chose sunny-side up, were cooked beautifully, although they looked a bit small, but they were pretty substantial so that was good.i ordered my eggs benedict ($19) as usual. probably getting to predictable already, and yi was complaining that i was always the one who ordered eggs ben such that no one else got the chance to try it. oops okay, it's time for a change i guess. next time i shall order something else. haha. the eggs ben comes with a choice of mortadella (i learned that day that it was ham), smoked salmon or baby spinach. such a refreshing and healthy option! but i didn't chose the spinach instead, i got the smoked salmon which was nice and soft and yummy. as always, smoked salmon is a tad salty in my opinion, but that can't be helped i suppose. served atop brioche toast that was warm and crispy on the outside and perfectly crumbly inside, i LOVED this bread. really. it was absolutely delicious and there was a generous dollop of hollandaise sauce on top of it. perfect!my sis ordered the signature cast iron pan ($24) which sounded like a really big meal. i was really imagining the huge wok i had at home for stir-frying haha. i was over-imagining it apparently. the cast iron pan was significantly smaller than i thought. seeing the number of things on the menu description of this dish though, i was surprised that they actually managed to squeeze everything on it! there were 2 free range eggs (cooked to your liking), hash browns, bacon, chipolata, baked beans, roast vine tomatoes and mushrooms. BIG BREAKFAST! (:from the brunch section, we ordered the banana french toast ($15)! sounds interesting already doesnt it! the french toast was nicely toasted, slightly crispy outside but soft inside, covered with a generous layer of syrup. the grilled bananas that came with it were topped with toasted coconut shavings. a very interesting combination of tastes (:finally, we had the homemade orange & vanilla waffles ($15), which was a rather unique, refreshing twist to typical waffles! the moment i bit into the crispy crust of the waffle, i could taste the subtle flavour of the orange. not too overwhelming, it instead lends a citrusy freshness to the pastry. served with a small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and the jar of chocolate sauce, this was a decadent dish continue reading

Was wondering around rochester looking for food, came to Graze and orderedThe Pan, perfectly grilled pork sausage was crunchy and succulent matches the soft and chewy sauteed button mushroom. Grilled tomato was tangy and have the correct amount of charring but was only given 2 pieces, didn’t quiet like the canned baked beans and the overcook bitter tasting bacon. At $5 a scoop we had, Salted Caramel, Fig and Honey ice cream, coconut, mango sorbet. Like the twisted taste of salty and sweet in the creamy and silky salted caramel ice cream; Must try their fig and honey, mellow and smooth tasting honey with hint of fig fragrant ice cream. Both sorbet were refreshing and cooling. continue reading

For pictures and full review, pls visit:http://madamechewy.wordpress.com/2012/07/18/graze/Enjoyed a very hearty and delicious dinner at Graze, Rochester Park. I was craving for BBQ prawns and I saw it on Graze’s menu online. I must say that I was not disappointed with the prawns and the other dishes were surprisingly impressive. Looking forward to dine here again. Graze @ Rochester has an alfresco and indoor dining section, as well as an outdoor movie projector located at the drink tables. There were only a couple of other tables filled that night. Service was brisk and polite, which I found acceptable. continue reading

http://thechosenglutton.wordpress.com/2011/09/29/praising-graze/Since the day I strolled past Graze after a meal at Rochester Park, I’ve been stalking them on their artistically-designed website. And of course, their menu. And since then too, I’ve been drooling over their BBQ items. The journey into Rochester Park, Graze in specific, is quite a distance, seeing that the restaurant is all the way deep in the parallel rows of restaurants. Well, having a car’s still ideal. But as it was evening, walking in from Buona Vista MRT isn’t as much a pain as if it were to be on a scorching hot afternoon. It is advisable to be there for dinner, at the dusk hours – the ambience would then set in.Air-conditioned indoor seating, or alfresco dining – it’s entirely up to you. We decided on the latter, because hey, dining isn’t only about food – it’s about soaking into the atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed upon reaching, and ushered to our preferred seats. Service was surprisingly good, after reading some of the negative feedback running around.Like how chips are served in Mexican Restaurants, bread basket (on the house) was served here at Graze, coupled with the olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Bread was soft and easy to the throat, unlike some hard and rough ones. Good starter.Corn-fed Black Angus Striploin ($44++) :: Shiraz (red wine), Black Pepper, Mushroom, or Bearnaise (butter in egg yolk) sauce – your wish is their command. Having been torn between shiraz and black pepper, I asked for a recommendation, and decided on the former. Glad it didn’t disappoint, and that throughout the course, I didn’t feel at all ‘gelat‘. It was commendable.Seared Duck Breast ($33++) :: At first we were doubtful on the quantity of the course, afraid that it wouldn’t even feel half the stomach. Thankfully, it wasn’t the case (even though no, it definitely can’t fill you completely). It comes with apple salad by the side, and I thought it’s special. Love things seared. Love duck. So.King Salmon ($34++) :: For me, being satisfied with the restaurant / food and expenditure is directly proportionate. And it can be reflected here. Two persons, we decided to order another main course besides ours, to share – King Salmon. We love the presentation of the lemon & lime, it’s brilliant. And we were spot-on on ordering the Salmon. First bite down, and you’re off flying without wings. But we both agreed that if you go on and finish it on your own, you’d get sick of it.Dessert Tasting Plate ($35++) :: It’s as if we haven’t had enough, we decided to go crazy and ordered the Dessert Tasting Plate, making this a 4-course meal with 2 main courses. To sum this dish up, it’s a mini-creation of the other desserts they have on their menu. Some examples are Chocolate Fondant (top right corner – also known as my favorite), Warm Apple Pie Crumble (not too bad), Honeycomb and Strawberry Ice Cream (top left corner, very very unique – I’ve never had such before), Vanilla Bean & Raspberry Creme Brulee, and Ice Cream. It’s a great dessert to order when you’re not sure which, out of the list, do you want to end your night with.I don’t think there is a need for reservation, I was there on a Saturday night and it was fine throughout the night.Do not take my word for it, but for me.Ambience. Full marks.Service. Full marks.Food. Almost there. continue reading
