At $4 you get 2 fresh spring rolls which is called popiah in local term. You can have this for a light lunch or tea.The spring rolls are filled with lettuce, sweet sauce, sprinkle of chopped peanuts, egg, cooked strips of yam beans. The whole thing is all rolled up into a parcel and sliced into 4 slices.At this stalls, the Popiah skin is not wet and taste is ok but I do not think it is the best that I have eaten. continue reading

I really could not understand the reason behind to have minimum order of 2 popiah for this stall. I thought that the purpose of having all the famous stalls gathered at one location is to let tourists to enjoy all this nice food in Singapore. But to finish 2 popiah, I doubt they have much spaces left in their stomach for other food. I think this "rule" should be lifted.Cost of 2 popiah -SGD 4 continue reading
