This is a must-visit place for you if you are a crab lover! Recommended dishes are Chilli Crab and Salted Egg Yolk Crab which are both really fresh and yummy! I always order the man tou (fried buns) to go along with the Chilli Crab's gravy. Once you start on the gravy, you wont be able to stop. It’s finger-licking good. continue reading

A fan of salted egg yolk crab, I decided to try some from House of Seafood; it's hard to miss the huge signboard along the way. Its salted egg yolk gravy is dry (which I very much prefer), rather than the other type which is more watery and sweet. Crab was big compared to the usual you see at zi char stalls, and the meat was firm. Crab was also fresh as one could taste the natural sweetness. continue reading

Their crab is really huge and my bf and i ordered 2 huge crab for just the both of us! hahaha. ordered the pork ribs too and i must say its SUPERB! its a must order when you're there. but warning, its expensive. about $20 for a plate of 4-5 pieces Ordered chili crab and black pepper crab. if i were to go back again, would just order the chili crab cause its not bad! nicer than the black pepper. personally, cause i like the chili crab sauce, and the black pepper one is quite dry with little sauce! The changi outlet is rather... ulu. need to have a car to go there or take a cab! took a cab there and a really long walk out! continue reading

On Friday, my family & I decide to have crabs for dinner hence we headed for the branch at cosford road. The FoodThe specialities are Black Pepper & Chilli crab hence I ordered the medium chilli crab with buns to go with it. After all the crabs tasted from different places, I find that tis restaurant has the nicest chilli crab. The gravy is tasty & there are a lot of crab roe inside. The PriceReasonably priced at only $42/kgThe ServiceService was good because the waiter frequently change the plates and bowls with lime water proactively and best of all, i was entitled to one free gift for one bill! OverallI will revisit this place as the chilli crab is the nicest & freshest in Singapore. continue reading

This place is really not that easy to find. Our GPS even led us into the cargo centre. They put signboards on the roads but it wasn't enough to direct us....nonetheless, we finally found it. As this is our first time dining in this restaurant, we didn't know what to order. So we went for the 2 pax set meal. This wasn't without trouble. The waiter serving us was from China....so either our mandarin sucked or his ears was problematic. We requested for the 2 pax set from the set menu. I then saw from the menu that it was only available for lunch. So I asked the guy if we can have the dinner menu as this was the lunch menu. He took the menu and never came back. We requested for the same thing from another waitress and she explained to us that only one of the sets is for lunch, the rest is available for dinner as well. She was better.First on the list was the pork ribs. Not really a big fan of pork ribs and this dish didn't change that. The salted egg yold prawns didn't taste as well as I expected. It is like one is more than enough that kind of taste. I went for a second piece only because I didn't want to waste too much food.Nothing special about the crackers. I tried eating it with the chilli sauce but it just didn't bring out the taste. I prefer those I have purchased from mama shop.Love the spinach. Not really a fish person so I wouldn't comment on that. I finish most of the spinach on the plate. This is probably the only reason we are here. We heard so much about the black pepper crab. Unfortunately, I find it abit over rated. It was as nice as what I thought it would be. I took only one claw and didn't want to eat the rest. Maybe I have tasted other better ones and was expecting the same kind of standards. This is perhaps the best dish on the table besides the spinach dish. They put crispy rice on top of the fried rice which gives a different feel to the whole experience. The flavor was good as well. It was yummy.I think this was sago honeydew. It's completely tasteless. To conclude, I think this restaurant is abit over-rated. I wouldn't go back again. The other interesting thing about this restaurant is that you can actually feed the fishes with milk bottles. As nothing in this world is free, especially in Singapore, you need to pay $4. It's worth a try if you want to know how it feels like to feed a fish with milk bottle. continue reading
