This seafood stall always have long queues during evening time, especially during weekend. Its famous for its Chilli Crab and its Egg Yolk Prawn. The food was just above average till they changed their main chef sometime back. This time instead of its dishes, bought its Pineapple Fried Rice instead. There were char siew bites, pineapple dices, prawns and chickens. For $5, the portion is really big, suitable for two, but the taste of the pineapple fried rice can just be described as one word - Bland. The pineapple dices somehow has no effect on the rice, the rice is just normal yellow rice and has no pineapple smell or taste. The prawns and chickens are still okay, still edible. The sambal chilli was good, was spicy enough and goes well with fried rice and noodles. All in all, I will recommend its Salted Fish Fried Rice and other dishes, just don't try its Pineapple Fried Rice. continue reading

This stall serves quite delicious horfun and yeemian and I frequently patronised it. The horfun and noodles is cooked well and the taste of gravy is being absorbed into the noodles. At $3.50 the serving is quite a lot and there is lots of gravy as you can see from the pictures. The ingredients include vegetables, meat, fish cake and prawns. However, there was no squids which was a pity, possibly due to increase in food prices because there used to be. When the stall is crowded, the horfun standard may sometimes be not as good. continue reading
