Whenever i am at the Golden Mile Food Centre, i will purchase a few bottle of the Sand Pear drink from the stall Fruit Juice and Cold Beverages. Although they sell other fruit juice, their most famous drink is the sand pear drink which is made of starfruit and pear. The starfruit and pear combination is very good and taste very unique. The drink is best serve cold and is very refreshing esp on a hot day.

Wanted a healthy drink and came across this stall. For the price, it’s worth while to order a cup of avocado juice. The juice is well blended and smooth. The brown sugar added into the drink makes it sweeter to drink and adds on a little coconut flavour to the avocado juice.

You must be wondering what exactly is a Sand Pearl Drink It is none other than a combination of Starfruit and Pearl though i do not know why it ended up being called a Sand Pearl drink.I usually ended up with a few bottles of this whenever i am at this food centre and have it refrigerated for a few days. It has a pretty unique taste more towards the starfruit rather than the pearl. It is neither sweet nor sour, it is somewhere in between. This is definitely a healthier choice as compared to those canned soft drinks. So, next time if you are in this food centre and looking for something different then perhaps you should consider trying this Sand Pearl drink. I have yet to find another stall in Singapore selling this. Recommended.
