ordered a milo dinosaur from this drink and prata place. Business was bustling with many families coming here for breakfast on a public holiday. The milo dinosaur was a dissapointment however. It was pretty expensive at 3 dollars for a drink, and did not come through in terms of flavour. The drink was way to sweet, probably as a result of too much condensed milk continue reading

We've been here a number of times... their food is quite rich and greasy so we usually feel sick from eating it, but the first few bites are really tasty! We liked their prata, which was pretty good. And the mee rebus was good too. Lot os stuff in the mee rebus. The lime juice is different to the hawker centre lime juice. Here it is clear. We suppose it's pure lime juice with some clear sugar sweetner... The pieces of lime in the juice is a good touch. It's more expensive than hawker fare but it's pretty good. continue reading

It was sooo heavenly to have indian rojak on a cold day. Went for tea with my mum and we ordered fish cake, egg, some potato-ish thing( sorry i dont know its name) and one other thing that's just made of flour. It was fried to the correct extent and everything was so crispy. The kuah was also perfect. We also ordered Mee goreng (basah) along with our rojak and it was good but i felt super full after awhile and regretted ordering it. Should have just stuck to the rojak continue reading

Old Town's business seem to be affected after Mr Teh Tarik had come to Big Splash. I was also one of those who are drawn to them! Personally, I do find that their price are more reasonable if we was to compare the drinks and some of the main course. I am not stating that they serve the same item but just that they both served some of the typical food that we eat for breakfast. Now Mr Teh Tarik even came out with a bread and egg set that come with a tea. Personally, I prefer their tea as to compare to the one I drink in Old town. The tea taste is strong and flow smoothly down your thoat, leaving behind the bitterly taste in the tougue. ...Service was quite bad when it comes to weekend ... they keep forgetting to take my orders.... continue reading
